What we use

WordPress sign-in cookies (wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_…, wordpress_test_cookie) Keep Helios team members signed in to the staff portal. Not set for other visitors. Until you sign out or close your browser (up to 14 days with “Remember me”)
Cloudflare Turnstile Checks that the referral form is being used by a person, not an automated program. Provided by Cloudflare. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy
Google Maps Shows the map on our Contact page. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads. See Google’s privacy policy
YouTube and Vimeo Play the videos on our Resources page. YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode) and Vimeo may set their own cookies once you start a video. See Google’s and Vimeo’s privacy policies
Browser storage: closed notices Remembers announcement banners you’ve closed, so they stay hidden. Stored only in your browser. Up to the number of days set for that notice

Referral form: remembered on this device

If you ticked “Remember me on this device” when verifying your email, this skips the code next time. Forgetting it means you’ll be sent a code again.

Dismissed notices

Announcement banners you’ve closed stay hidden in this browser for a while. Show them again.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also view and delete cookies, or block them, in your browser’s settings. Blocking all cookies may stop some features, such as the referral form or staff sign-in, from working.

If your pet has an urgent eye concern outside our regular hours, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital. You’re also welcome to leave us a message, and we’ll reach out as soon as we reopen to discuss next steps.

Not a patient yet?

If your pet’s eye suddenly looks painful or swollen, or they seem to have lost vision, don’t wait for a referral or appointment. For these or any urgent concerns, contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital right away.
